Betances STEM at Dwight is preparing children for their futures. The National Science Foundation estimates that “80% of the jobs created in the next decade will require some form of math and science skills.” Our students are working to meet that challenge and are preparing to conquer the rapidly evolving worlds that encompass high technology and science. They are excited about the future and what they are already doing to begin to change their world. Choosing and learning about the things that interest them most, from building bridges to robots, generates enthusiasm and growth, turning our students into curious, well-rounded, lifelong learners.
